Naho, a character designer at a leading game company, has a disastrous first encounter with Haru — a handsome but aloof man — when she spills coffee all over his high-end clothes during her lunch break in the park. Unable to afford the damages, Naho is stunned when Haru makes her an unusual offer: “From tomorrow, you’ll make me lunch. 30 times, and we’ll call it even.” Reluctantly, she agrees. Day after day, she prepares his lunch; day after day, he eats heartily and returns the empty, washed bento box. They know nothing about each other’s lives, meeting only for 50 minutes at noon — yet something begins to spark between them.
