The Fusion of Drama and Documentary in Kyoto, One of Japan’s leading tourist destinations 

From a drama perspective, it depicts the relationships and feelings of 3 characters in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who meet in Kyoto. The story is spun from the unique concerns and perspectives of each generation.

The documentary introduces the stores and people the main character “Toshiya” encounters in Kyoto. Nostalgic and cute button shop specialty stores, pottery stores, locally loved Japanese sweets and pickles, and stores specializing in particular lighting. The tour focuses on carefully crafted products unique to Kyoto and stores that can only be found in Kyoto.

It also freshly depicts the changes in Toshiya’s emotional state in his life by listening to real stories from the actual store owners.
